AAIP Update: Allocation Rises to 6,603, and Physician and Francophone Nominations Fall Outside It

Alberta’s 2026 allocation rose to 6,603, with 2,043 spaces left as of August 25. Up to 10,000 federal spaces are available for practice-ready physicians and Francophones, and those nominations do not count against Alberta’s allocation — the French bar is NCLC 5 across all four abilities, yet only 12 have been issued all year.
