Program Overview

The Price Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has been made possible through Canada – Price Edward Island Co-operation immigration in 2001 which allows the Office of Immigration to nominate immigrants to PEI. The Business Impact Category provides the opportunity for foreign nationals to be nominated by Prince Edward Island to become permanent residents of Canada providing they invest in and actively manage a business in Prince Edward Island.

Application Requirement

• Personal net worth of $600,000
• Language: IELTS 4 on all bands
• Age between 21-59
• Minimum education of high-school equivalent
• Have at least 2 years of management skills
• Conduct an exploratory visit no less than 7 days
• Deposit $200,000 ($50,000 is tied to residency and $150,000 is tied to investment)

(NOTE: $25,000 will be refundable after 6 months of residency on PEI, another $25,000 will be refunded after 1 year of residency on PEI. The balance will be refunded after the applicant has incurred $150,000 in operating expenses and meeting the requirements in escrow agreement)
